Speech Therapy:

This is a remedial therapy for problems related to language and speech. This therapy includes training/treatment for

4. Inability to speak complete meaningful sentences
5. Repeatedly speaking same words/sentences
6. Stammering
7. Stuttering
Speech therapist provide treatment after complete observation and evaluation which include:

Music Therapy:

Music therapy helps handicapped sick persons improve physical, mental health, increase focus and concentration, enhance socializing.

Music helps singing and playing different instruments.

Active Music Therapy:In this type along with the therapist, the child also gets involved in playing various musical instruments, singing and dancing.
Passive Music Therapy:Child doesnot get physically involved in the music played by the therapist.

Social Therapy:

Social therapy is given to children above 14 years of age. Children with retardation from border line to mild, moderate and severe all are included in this therapy.

Social therapy starts with inclusion of children in dayto day activities and other family functions and individual care. This helps in improving behavior problem of children. The main benefits are listed above:

  • By using different attractive pictures, children are given concepts of small-big, above-below, thick-thin, empty-fulletc.

Yoga Therapy

Yoga is not just an exercise, it is a way to connect once mind with almighty. Yoga opens ups the path to meet the god. One of the activities is ‘yogasan’. These exercises are extremely important for body and mind.

Yogasans are to be done methodically with ease, following the norms and proper guidance. By performing these exercises, body becomes strong and joints work smoothly.

  • yogasan should be done after taking bath.

  • It should be done in a clean, plain, airy and open place

  • While doingyogasan, one must not take and should maintain complete silence

  • Children should be given clear instruction in single language.

  • Children should not wear tight clothes while doing yogasan
